Welcome and thank you for visiting Diva's website!
It is hard to believe that Diva is now entering its sixth year of business...it seems like yesterday that I decided to take my obsession with shopping and fashion and make a business out of it. I had worked in the world of corporate cosmetics management for over 20 years and I knew it was definitely time to do something new. I'd always been a consignor and customer at resale stores and loved the idea of recycling never-worn clothing bought on frenzied shopping trips.
Somehow I knew I was not the only woman in this situation... and so Diva Designer Consignment was born.
The store is named after one of my dachshunds, who came with the name Diva--and it fits her perfectly--in every sense of the word! There is a lot of dachshund decor at the store (even a dachshund mannequin in the window). We are in an 1880's townhome with a European, boutique-y atmosphere--hopefully you will feel as welcome as we will endeavor to make you! We even have chairs (and INC and Motor Trend Magazines) to keep your significant other happy as you shop...we were chosen as the consignment store with the "best vibe" in the Washington metro area by Washingtonian Magazine.
We carry lines such as Tory Burch, DVF, Milly, Trina Turk, Catherine Malandrino, Michael Kors, Prada, Chanel, Nanette Lepore---the list goes on...let's just say the store is a fertile hunting ground for bargains on the brands you love. And, it's never the same two days in a row! We also stock a line of new jewelry to complement the fashions we carry. We've got shoes, handbags, scarves and other accessories too...you just have to see for yourself--so definitely plan a stop here on your trip to Alexandria!
